Wolfe Island, Ontario

Wolfe Island is the biggest of the Thousand Islands, a region shared by Canada and the United States. It is a short (and free) ferry ride from Kingston, Ontario. Little shops, bakeries, and restaurants line the main street, which is about as quaint as it gets. If you’re looking for a low-key, relaxing music festival, the Wolfe Island Music Festival, held every summer, is both family friendly and affordable.
