There’s always talk of heatstroke in the summer, but cold days kill more people in Canada than hot ones. In 2014, 111 people died as a result of “exposure to excessive natural cold” whereas only 7 were killed by excessive natural heat. It just goes to show, in Canada, the cold can be deadly.
