Incredible facts about Canadian weather

This region does actually see volcanic eruptions

People don’t tend to associate Canada with volcanic eruptions, but there is one massive eruption on record. It happened pre-European contact, in the 1700s. About 2,000 people were killed when the the Tseax Cone north of Terrace, BC, erupted, and the story of that volcano lived on in First Nations lore for centuries, eventually being confirmed by geologists.
