Mating season changes a person, or in this case, a moose. While moose don’t often hang out in groups, when rutting season begins, moose begin to hang out in social groups. And once the socializing begins, so does the fighting. Male moose compete to show their sexual prowess, and these clashes can be a truly terrifying sight. Moose don’t have those horns for nothing, and while we may think of moose as gentle, placid creatures, the chance to spread their genes definitely brings out their aggressive side.
