Great Britian’s gold medal housewives

At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, Great Britain’s women’s curling team won gold. It was an unlikely win for a few reasons. First off, Great Britain isn’t known for being good at winter sports; the curling gold was the first gold medal they’d won in 18 years. Second, the team wasn’t made up of well-known athletes. Rather, it was comprised of four Scottish women who held down day jobs.
