They’re remarkably small

The size of a large domestic cat, the Arctic fox the smallest wild canid in Canada, measuring between 75 to 115 centimetres, with their tails making up 30-35 per cent of their total length. They weigh between 2.5 and nine kilograms, bulking up considerably before winter — in fact, they’ll increase their body weight by up to 50 per cent in the autumn.
