Lake Erie hosts a monster
Like Loch Ness in Scotland, Lake Erie is said to be inhabited by a monster, and the Lake Erie legend has a name: Bessie. Bessie is said to be somewhere between 30 and 40 feet long, snake- or eel-like, and grey in color. Bessie sightings have persisted since the late 1700s.
