The Great Lakes touch a lot of States

Most people know that Canada and the United States share the Great Lakes (except for Lake Michigan). Most people probably don’t know how many states have a piece of the lakes, however. The lakes are sometimes credited with creating America’s “fourth coast,” as they touch Michigan, New York, Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. The only Canadian province touching the lakes is Ontario.
