The Labrador Husky is often mistaken for Husky-Lab mix. Brought to Labrador, Canada in the 1300s by the Inuit to help them endure Canada’s unique (read: darn cold!) environment. The Lab Husky pulled sleds, and performed other working tasks. Today, the breed is mostly unemployed, and rivals the Siberian Husky in size, weighing in at 60-100 pounds, but more gentle than its girth suggests.
